Our Approach

Grass Roots

Referees

You already ref for your high school team, but you are not an island.

We provide training courses for anyone wanting to learn the basics of how to become a referee.

This enables anyone who supports their school to do so more competently.

Certification

Once the basic training courses are completed online, you are now eligible to complete a certification program.

The clinic will focus on situations, and you can tap into the experience of the Facilitator, who will evaluate you at a later tournament to give you the skills of running a match from beginning-to-end.

Mentorship

Great, you're certified!

Time to throw you in the deep end!

Not. So. Fast.

We will pair you with a local mentor that you can call and build relationship with.

We plan to have a referee hotline for urgent issues.

We will support you with ongoing training, will plans to build out a content bank.

Levelling Up

Some referees want to level up quickly, some don't.

Our With Distinction training program will be a structured mentorship program, a more accountable pathway for referees who want to grow. $ increases, and opportunities to mentor/supervise increases.

With ongoing requirements to maintain this level.

This enables referees to grow without the pressure of going up a badge level. As higher levels increases the expectation of match intensity the referee must be comfortable refereeing.
